Microsoft's AKS engineering team released TauGrid on 28 August 2026, an MIT-licensed set of tools for running GPU workloads on Kubernetes that installs as a single Helm chart (Kubernetes' package manager). It bundles the tau command-line tool, Kueue job queueing, KubeRay for spreading work across machines, GPU node health checks and monitoring.
